The 2026 Liaison Teacher empowerment Workshop

The 2026 liaison teacher empowerment workshop attendees

The Kenya Education Fund (KEF) gathered liaison teachers from partner schools for its annual Liaison Teachers Conference from August 19–21, 2026, at CORAT Africa. Marking 25 years of transforming lives through education, the three-day summit focused on empowering educators to better support scholars as KEF adapts to Kenya's evolving learning landscape. Liaison teachers serve as the essential link between KEF, students, families, and schools. They manage Grade 10 admissions, track academic progress, provide pastoral care, and help KEF address student needs in real time.

“Our liaison teachers are the foundation of our scholarship model,” said Francis Ng’ang’a, Country Director at KEF. “They are closest to our students daily, ensuring our scholars don't just stay in school, but truly thrive.”
