2006 — The Beginning
Kenya Education Fund (KEF) was founded by Bradley Broder and Dominic Muasya to help underprivileged students stay in secondary school.
2011 — Expanding to Nomadic Communities
KEF merged with Nomadic Kenyan Children’s Educational Fund (NKCEF), founded in 2001 extending support to nomadic and pastoralist children.
2013 — Urban Informal Settlements
Merger with Children of Kibera Foundation founded by Ken Okoth . This is expanded KEF’s reach into Kibera and other informal settlements.
2026 — 25 Years of Impact

We provide underprivileged students with full scholarships that cover: tuition, room & board, uniforms, text books, sanitary pads and school shoes.

1 year Bridge Scholarship
This is a one year scholarship that allows transition from secondary school to TVETs or universities in Kenya
