Lack of education for the youth of Kenya means the generational cycle of poverty will continue. Kenya Education Fund (KEF) provides scholarships for high school + the first year of college to Kenyan children based on need and merit.

We envision self-reliance for the people of Kenya through education.

Over the past 15 years, KEF has educated over 4,000 students in Kenya. Nearly 100% of our students graduate from high school and 98% of them successfully transition to college. They move on to careers that allow them to provide for themselves and give back to their families and communities.

You will be matched with a Kenyan student and receive hand-written letters from them. You can write back and build an unforgettable relationship! 

Your donation covers: four years high school and the first year of college tuition, room & board, uniforms & shoes, textbooks, sanitary pads, scientific calculators, as well as, mentorship, life skills and career readiness workshops.
